Stand the Yozma IN 10 Pro beside the Riding Times GT73 Pro and the difference is clear before either bike moves. GT73 Pro uses a rear hub motor, two batteries and matching front and rear tires. We built the IN 10 Pro around a mid mounted motor, 420 chain drive and a staggered 17/14 inch wheel set.
Both can take a rider beyond smooth, level ground, but they solve the job in different ways. GT73 Pro puts more published capacity into its dual battery system. IN 10 Pro brings its motor mass into the chassis and uses the larger front, smaller rear layout familiar from dirt bikes. For a buyer choosing mainly for off road recreation, that difference in architecture deserves more attention than any single headline number.
Which Riding Times GT73 Pro Are We Comparing?
This comparison uses the 60V GT73 Pro currently shown on the Riding Times Canada product page. It has two removable 60V 18Ah batteries, a rear geared hub motor, hydraulic brakes and matching 70/100-19 tires. It is not the standard 48V GT73 displayed in the same specification table.
Yozma IN 10 Pro vs Riding Times GT73 Pro at a Glance
| Published detail | Yozma IN 10 Pro | Riding Times GT73 Pro | What it means on the trail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drive layout | Mid mounted motor with 420 chain drive | Rear geared hub motor | Yozma keeps the motor in the chassis instead of inside the rear wheel |
| Published torque | 220 N·m | 338 N·m | The brands do not publish a shared test method, so these are not controlled results |
| Battery and charging | One removable 60V 27Ah battery, approximately 1,620Wh; 6 to 7 hours | Two removable 60V 18Ah batteries, approximately 2,160Wh total; 5 to 6 hours with two chargers | GT73 Pro publishes more stored energy; range claims are not directly comparable |
| Wheel and tire layout | 17 inch front and 14 inch rear, staggered | Matching 70/100-19 front and rear tires, also described as 25 × 3 inches | Yozma uses the larger front and smaller rear arrangement associated with dirt bikes |
| Suspension and brakes | Inverted hydraulic fork, nitrogen rear shock and hydraulic brakes | Front suspension with compression adjustment, rear suspension and hydraulic brakes with 230 mm rotors and EABS | Both include hardware intended to manage uneven ground and braking loads |
| Controls and water resistance | Three riding modes, reverse and IPX6 | Full twist throttle, cadence sensor and IPX4; reverse is not listed | Reverse gives the Yozma an extra control for repositioning in tight spaces |
| Recommended rider height | 143 to 192 cm | 5 ft 5 in to 6 ft 3 in, approximately 165 to 191 cm | Height is a starting point; reach, inseam and experience also affect fit |
Why the IN 10 Pro Uses a Mid Mounted Chain Drive
On the IN 10 Pro, the motor sits inside the main chassis and sends drive to the rear wheel through a 420 chain. The rear wheel does not have to carry the motor inside its hub. This keeps the drivetrain arrangement closer to that of a compact dirt bike and lets the suspension manage a rear wheel without an integrated hub motor.
The chain, rear sprocket and motor are also easy to identify during a pre ride check. They give the rider a clear mechanical path from the motor to the ground. Chain tension and lubrication become part of routine ownership, but that is a familiar trade for riders who want a dirt bike style drive system.
GT73 Pro's rear hub motor is a different, equally deliberate approach. It removes the external motor to rear wheel chain drive and fits naturally with its pedal equipped frame. The IN 10 Pro layout is the one we chose for riders who want the bike centred on off road control.
Our mid drive vs hub motor guide explains how these two arrangements change maintenance and riding feel.
A 17/14 Inch Chassis Built Around Dirt
The IN 10 Pro runs a 17 inch front wheel and a 14 inch rear. The larger front wheel meets ruts, loose patches and repeated bumps first, while the smaller rear keeps the bike compact around the chain and rear sprocket. It is a purposeful layout rather than two matching tires fitted to a general purpose frame.
Its current Canadian geometry lists a 114 cm wheelbase, 78 cm seat height and 168 cm total length. The recommended rider height is 143 to 192 cm. These measurements create useful room for a rider to move between seated and standing positions without turning the bike into a full size motorcycle.
Riding Times describes the GT73 Pro tires as both 25 × 3 inches and 70/100-19. Those labels refer to different tire measurements, so the “25” should not be compared directly with Yozma's 17 inch rim. The meaningful distinction is matching tires on the GT73 Pro versus the staggered front and rear wheel arrangement on the IN 10 Pro.
Trail Control Comes From the Whole Chassis
We pair the IN 10 Pro's wheel layout with an inverted hydraulic fork, nitrogen rear shock and hydraulic brakes. Each part supports the same job: keeping the rider connected to the bike as the surface becomes loose, uneven or interrupted by small obstacles.
Three riding modes let the rider choose a response level before entering the trail. Reverse earns its place after forward motion stops. It can help when backing away from a blocked line, repositioning beside a trailer or turning the bike in a confined storage area.
The published IPX6 rating adds protection against water jets, but it does not make the bike submersible. Keep pressure washers away from the battery, charging port and electrical connections, and follow the manual for cleaning and storage.
See the IN 10 Pro Beyond the Specification Table
Pat Outdoors walks through the IN 10 Pro controls and rides the stock bike across dirt, gravel and uneven ground. The continuous riding sections are the useful part: they show the rider's position, suspension movement, wheel tracking and how the bike changes direction.
Who Should Choose the Yozma IN 10 Pro?
IN 10 Pro is the stronger fit when the bike is being purchased mainly for off road recreation and the rider values:
- A mid mounted motor and 420 chain drive
- A staggered 17/14 inch wheel set shaped around dirt riding
- Room to move on the bike without stepping up to a full size motorcycle
- Hydraulic suspension and braking in one matched chassis
- Three riding modes and reverse
- An off road focused platform rather than a pedal centred layout
That is the job we built the Pro to do. Its drivetrain, wheel set, suspension, brakes and controls arrive as one package, so the buyer does not have to reshape a general purpose platform around trail use.

The IN 10 Pro has a 17 inch front wheel and 14 inch rear wheel. GT73 Pro lists matching 70/100-19 tires front and rear.
What rider height is the Yozma IN 10 Pro designed for?
Yozma recommends the IN 10 Pro for riders approximately 143 to 192 cm tall. Reach, inseam, weight and riding experience should also be considered.
Is the Yozma IN 10 Pro intended for public roads in Canada?
No. We position the IN 10 Pro for off road use. Choose a riding area that permits this type of vehicle and check the current requirements in your province before riding.
Which Pro Is More Trail Ready?
GT73 Pro offers the larger published battery system and a rear hub motor layout. IN 10 Pro answers with the more dirt bike specific package: a mid mounted chain drive, staggered wheels, hydraulic suspension and brakes, three riding modes and reverse.
For a rider buying specifically for dirt, the Yozma is our choice. Its advantage is not one isolated specification. It is the way the drivetrain, wheels, chassis and controls have been arranged around the same off road job.
